One cat. Questionable depth.

Diver Cat

Diver Cat, a tabby in yellow goggles, snorkel and flippers, holding a trident sideways

Fully equipped. Strategically unprepared.

Field Skills

Training consisted of standing near a pool and looking employable.

  • Bottom WalkingSwimming remains under review, so the flippers are mostly formalwear.
  • Fork ManagementCarries the trident horizontally, against every briefing ever issued.
  • Bubble DisciplineBreathes calmly until anything nearby moves on purpose.

Below the Reef

On land, Diver Cat saw a snorkel, a trident and a clearance rack of yellow flippers. Ten minutes later, he accepted an unsupervised assignment below the reef. The seahorse offered no guidance. The crab left early. Diver Cat continues forward because turning around would require admitting that water has rules.

Dive Conditions

The operating plan fits on one damp napkin and has survived no independent review.
